Today while i was on my morning walk, suddenly a school going boy fell from his cycle and had generalized tonic clonic seizure(झटका, फिट, दौरा). People around him ran and started pumping his chest, putting something in his mouth.
I explained to them the correct steps of first aid during a seizure episode.
Loosen the clothes, put pt of left lateral position, don’t try to put anything in the mouth, protect pt from any injury. Wait for a while., this seizure will stop on its on.
