HSV encephalitis is a potential life threatening condition specially in rainy season. it is very essential to diagnose this condition at early stage because it carries  high mortality.

Recently, two patients at different hospitals were diagnosed and treated by our neurologist Dr. Navin tiwari, director ,asian neuro center Indore. first patient 20 year old male was from ujjain presented with complaints of high grade fever, altered sensorium and seizures. another patient 12 year old male boy was from Dewas district with similar conditions and was received in comatose condition.both patient are stable and are recovering.
