Speaking in a CME organised by doctors association Sendhwa, one of the Best Neurologist in Indore and Director of Asian Neuro Centre, Indore said doctors in Rural area and semi urban area are very well aware of Generalised Tonic Clonic Seizure( GTCS) and they feel comfort in treating such patients. But important thing is that GTCS comprises only 20% to 30% of all cases of epilepsy. Other Seizure type like Myoclonic Seizure, Absence seizure, Complex partial Seizure, Focal Seizure are often missed by General Physicians claiming them as weakness or vitamin deficiency symptoms.These above mentioned seizures comprises a bulk of seizure type.
